Get to know Miss Myer

Hello Folks! I will get to know your students in no time, I'd like you as parents to get to know who is blessed to spend SEVEN hours FIVE days a week with your children. 

I grew up in a small town in southern Iowa with about one hundred people. I graduated with thirty-seven kids in my grade. A very VERY small town. I love Iowans. I think they're all kind-hearted and truly care to help anyone. After high school, I played softball in college for two years then transferred to UNI where I got my bachelor's degree. I met my soon-to-be husband when I was fourteen years old and we've been together since. I love anything that has to do with being outside. If the weather is nice, I'm always down to take the kids outside for a kickball game or even just look at the clouds (for educational purposes in all activities of course). As a teacher, I have high expectations for my kids and will push them to be better students as well as humans. I can't wait to begin school and make it the best year yet!
